How it works

  • Open an account, pick your area, and see what's free there right now.
  • Book a board and it's yours for the rest of this month, on the boards as soon as your words or banner are approved.
  • Everything runs by the calendar month. Keep your board for next month any time this month, or tick keep rolling and it renews itself.
  • All taken? Join the queue. With ten days of the month to go, any board its holder hasn't kept passes to the next in line.
  • No contracts, no phone calls, no salesmen. It all runs itself from your desk.

What you send us

  • Hoarding: up to 40 characters; ticker: up to 60; matchday card: your business name. All shown in capitals. No web address - it's unreadable at speed; your banner carries the link.
  • Office banner: a JPG, exactly 960 × 120 pixels, under 300 KB, plus the address it should click through to. Any web designer can knock one up in an hour; most businesses already have one.
  • League sponsor: a name of up to 24 characters plus a 960 × 120 banner.
  • Words are checked automatically the moment you send them, and every manager can report an advert - enough reports and it comes down.
  • The rules: No profanity, nudity or sexual content, racism, hate or discrimination of any kind - and no gambling, alcohol, tobacco or vapes, dating, political or religious advertising. Anyone who breaks these rules has their account closed, their adverts taken down without refund, and is banned from 44 Boots.
